David was born in Kenya during the late 1980's to a Swedish father and Kenyan mother. At a young age, he developed a love for human diversity, both in culture and spirit, much to the credit of his many childhood travels throughout Europe, Africa and North America.
His passion for photography, however, did not develop until later in life. It was during his first trip to the Maasai Mara and Samburu Reserve in Kenya, where he came across an abundance of wildlife he had never seen before. It was also here, where he fully learnt to grasp the battles which the earth's endangered species face on a daily basis, many caused by us humans. Documenting people, cityscapes, cultural melting pots, and scenery is also a strong passions of his.
In essence, my photos are, for the most part, published in black and white. Black and white stills portray an elegant yet timeless depiction, which, to me creates a perfect combination.
As you will encounter wandering the site is the focus on black and white photography. During the past year years black and white stills have taken front seat, something you will see throughout the various series found herein.
